Is it really free?
Yes. Octoboard is completely free for all teams: unlimited users, unlimited repos. No credit card required, no trial period, no feature gates.
Will you add paid plans?
We may introduce optional paid tiers in the future for advanced enterprise features like SSO/SAML, audit logs, or dedicated support. The core product will remain free.
What's the catch?
There is no catch. Octoboard reads your GitHub data through the GitHub API: Issues, PRs, Actions, and Projects. We do not clone your repositories and we do not read file contents or commit diffs. AI features are included, and we keep costs down by sending only ticket metadata to the model.
Do you access my code?
We do not clone your repositories and we do not read file contents or commit diffs. What we store is metadata: issue titles, PR titles, states, assignees, labels, milestones, and workflow run statuses. PR bodies are read during sync to work out which issues a PR closes and then discarded, and issue bodies are fetched on demand and passed straight to your browser. Neither is stored.
